1.   It fits your schedule. With online therapy, you don’t have to travel to and from our office, which makes it convenient and easy to fit into busy days. When therapy is convenient for you it is also much easier to commit to which is essential for therapy progress.

2.   It is effective: research studies have found that online therapy is just as effective for treating mental health issues as in-person therapy.

3.   One aspect I find more effective is that during online therapy your therapist can easily link to therapeutic tools online. When meeting online with your therapist they can easily share relevant websites, videos, and worksheets that are relevant for your treatment. The use of digital tools in an easy way makes clients better informed and the therapy process more effective. Digital whiteboards and notes that are created in session can also be easily saved and shared which is just not done as easily when meeting in person.
