Helsinki and Online
My personal and professional journey has been deeply shaped by the experience of moving countries, starting over, and navigating the challenges of adapting to a new culture. This experience has heightened my empathy for the struggles of immigrants, including issues of self-identity, confidence, and emotional overload. I am passionate about helping people facing similar transitions to cope with stress, build resilience, and thrive in their new environments.
I provide in-person therapy sessions in Helsinki, as well as online therapy across Finland. This flexible setup is designed to fit your needs and schedule.

My Approach to Therapy
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace. I work with you to build self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and resilience using a combination of:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thoughts and behaviors
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to enhance psychological flexibility and values-driven living
- Mindfulness practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and calm
Together, we will create a personalized plan to help you manage symptoms, cope with life’s challenges, and cultivate greater well-being.
With a strong emphasis on culturally sensitive care, I aim to create a therapeutic environment where all clients feel understood and respected, no matter their background.
Areas I work with
I have experience supporting children, young adults, and adults. I particularly enjoy working with immigrant parents who may face unique challenges raising children in a different cultural context. I can support you with things like:
Feeling anxious, worried, or overwhelmed
Struggling with low mood or persistent sadness
Difficulty coping with big life changes or stressful situations
Healing from painful or traumatic experiences
Managing repeated thoughts or mood swings
Trouble sleeping or feeling rested
Grieving the loss of someone or something important
Challenges in your relationships or family life
Finding it hard to control your emotions or reactions
Dealing with substance use or habits that feel out of control
Balancing mental health while living with ongoing physical health issues
My Professional Background
My clinical training is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques. I continuously expand my skills through ongoing professional development and training, ensuring my methods remain current and effective.
I am committed to lifelong learning and regularly update my skills through training and research to offer my clients the best evidence-based care possible.
I believe every person has the strength to overcome life’s challenges, and therapy can be a powerful step in discovering that strength. If you feel ready to take that step, I’m here to support you with compassion and understanding.
