For over a decade, I worked in the educational field with children, adolescents, and adults, supporting learning processes, emotional development, and wellbeing across diverse contexts. I also developed and implemented a suicide prevention and life-preservation program at the Women’s Prison in Bogotá, where I led initiatives focused on the psychosocial wellbeing and multicultural integration of foreign women deprived of liberty, as well as the psychosocial characterization of the prison population.
Social psychology lies at the heart of my professional practice. I have participated in and supported research processes related to culturally sensitive and differential approaches to psychological care for victims of the Colombian armed conflict, with particular attention to Indigenous communities. In addition, I have contributed to research on collective memory with older adults, exploring narratives, identity, and processes of social reconstruction.
Having lived and worked in multicultural environments, I have a strong interest in supporting expatriates and internationally mobile individuals. I work with issues such as cultural adjustment, identity transitions, belonging, and the emotional challenges that can arise from migration, displacement, and life changes across cultures.
My work is grounded in a strong commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and the promotion of mental health and wellbeing in complex social contexts.

My Approach to Therapy
Drawing on my background in education and pedagogy, I approach therapy as a collaborative learning process. I focus on helping clients develop self-awareness, practical skills, and strategies to navigate life’s challenges, supporting personal growth in a structured and empowering way.
I offer therapy to adults, young adults, and families who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, or emotional distress. I also support individuals navigating cultural transitions, including integration into a new country, identity changes, decision-making processes, and career-related concerns.
I provide therapy in Spanish and English, offering a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.
I consider therapy as a safe place to be listened with no judgement.
