My Therapeutic Approach: Relational & Integrative
In sessions, I am active, empathic, and collaborative. While I draw on a broad toolkit, including CBT, ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Parts Work, my core lens is relational. I believe our well-being is deeply tied to our connections with others and how we navigate the world together. This also means that I will actively work to meet your needs and will strive to make a good, trusting therapeutic relationship with you.
I place a strong emphasis on understanding the “why” behind current struggles by exploring how we were parented and how those early experiences shape our adult lives. This makes me particularly skilled in working with:
- Relational and Childhood Trauma
- Complex Grief and Loss
- Interpersonal difficulties and attachment
I can work with difficulties ranging from depression, anxiety disorders including panic and OCD, eating disorders, complex grief, burnout, etc.
Neurodiversity & Specialist Support
I have a deep specialisation in working with neurodiversity (ADHD and Autism) in both adults and children. Whether providing neuropsychological assessments or therapeutic support, I help neurodivergent individuals and their families navigate life’s challenges with tailored, evidence-based strategies.
I also support clients with:
- Mood and Anxiety disorders (OCD, Panic, Depression)
- Eating disorders and body dysmorphia
- Chronic health conditions (Pain, Diabetes, HIV)
- Burnout and workplace well-being
- Reproductive health conditions including pre and postnatal difficulties (including birth trauma and postnatal depression) menstrual difficulties e.g. endometriosis and issues around perimenopause and menopause.
- Adults of all ages.
- Children aged 8-18. I particularly like working with teens!
