I am originally from Finland but have also studied and worked in the United States. This background gives me a natural understanding of both Finnish culture and the experience of navigating life in a foreign country, which allows me to work well with Finnish clients and members of the international community alike.
Before returning to Finland, I worked as a licensed therapist in Texas. During my studies I also competed in track & field at the NCAA level, which gave me a deeper appreciation for the role psychology plays in sports, performance, and competition.
My aim is to offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel understood and can work toward meaningful change at your own pace.

My Approach to Therapy
I draw on evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring the work to fit what each client needs rather than a one-size-fits-all method.
Being from Finland and having also studied and worked in the United States, I understand Finnish culture as well as the experience of navigating life in a foreign country. This allows me to work naturally with both Finnish clients and members of the international community.
I offer sessions online, and work with adolescents, young adults, and adults in English and Finnish.
I aim to offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel understood and can work toward meaningful change at your own pace.
