Turku and Online

I’m a Spanish psychologist based in Turku. I am licensed in Finland (VALVIRA) and Spain (Colegio Oficial de Psicólogos de Madrid, COP). My practice is rooted in the belief that understanding cultural nuances is key to effective therapy. Fluent in English and Spanish, I currently provide both online and in-person individual therapy.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the intricate ways culture shapes our mind. At 18, I decided to leave my country and I embarked on a journey to delve into cross-cultural psychology, which has profoundly enriched my understanding of the diverse human experience.

My recent work focuses on the complexities of immigration stress and the resilience required to adapt to new environments.

My Educational Background

With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Clinical Psychology (2018), I further expanded my expertise by pursuing a second master’s in Human Neuroscience in Turku (2020). I dedicated my last year in the field of research to studying the effect of maternal anxiety on the baby’s brain development during pregnancy. This second specialisation has equipped me with a deep understanding of the brain-behaviour relationship.
