Her experience includes work as a university researcher and professor across a broad range of Social Sciences. She has also strengthened her international perspective through a research fellowship at the Centre for Futures Studies at the University of Turku, Finland.
Tatiana holds a degree in psychology from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and is officially registered with the Colombian College of Psychologists. She has a master’s degree in Sociology and Social Research and completed doctoral studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. She is currently completing studies in pedagogy to obtain professional teaching qualifications at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki.
She is currently undertaking clinical psychology practice with Compass Psychology, a key step toward obtaining her professional license in Finland. Under the supervision of a registered psychologist in Finland, she provides interventions from a systemic perspective and using integrative therapy, tailored to the needs of adolescents, adults, and families.
Some of the areas she specializes in include stress, anxiety, emotional overload, complex family dynamics, experiences of transnational families, and migration-related challenges.
