Hello, I’m Alba

I am currently completing my psychotherapy training at Tampere University and providing psychotherapy services under professional supervision as part of my clinical training. I am delighted to be part of the team at Compass Psychology.

Before beginning my journey toward becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 12 years working in the social, healthcare, and educational sectors. Throughout my career, I have supported people from diverse cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds, which has fostered a strong interest in multicultural and culturally sensitive practice. As someone with a Spanish-Italian background who has lived and worked in different countries, I value the importance of understanding each person’s unique experiences, identities, and perspectives.

My interest in psychotherapy grew from a desire to understand more deeply how people make sense of their experiences, navigate difficulties, and create meaningful change in their lives. What continues to inspire me is the uniqueness of every person’s story and the opportunity to work collaboratively toward greater understanding, wellbeing, and growth.

In my work, I aim to create a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore whatever is important to them. Whether someone is experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I believe therapy can offer a valuable space for reflection, growth, and change.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. My role is not to provide ready-made answers, but to support clients in exploring their experiences, identifying their strengths, and moving toward the changes that are meaningful to them.

I am currently welcoming new clients and would be happy to hear from you. I offer therapy in Spanish, Italian, English, and Finnish. The fee for sessions during my training is €35 per 60-minute session.
